SwissCham Beijing is pleased to invite you to participate in our workshop "Creating vocational and professional training programs in China: company and vocational school considerations.", which is taking place on
November 1st at the German Center
(Liangmaqiao Diplomatic Office Building, 11F, Unit 1101A 19 Dongfang East Road, Chaoyang District)
Introduction:
๏ปฟ
China's next challenge is to transform education and skills development to deliver the talent needed for an innovative, digitalized, postindustrial economy.[1] Such transformation would benefit not only the talent market but also the companies which are currently facing the growing issue of finding well-rounded and high-caliber talents that meet the needs of industrial upgrading.
In response to the current trends in the talent market, on April 20th, 2022, the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPCSC) adopted the revised Vocational Education law[2]. The revised law requires vocational education to adopt a teaching method that features industry-education integration and school-enterprises cooperation.
About the workshop:
In China, certain Swiss companies who have a proven track record of implementing vocational education and training initiatives in Switzerland have already partnered with Chinese vocation schools and associations. The goal of this workshop is to share their successful experiences as well as provide an opportunity to exchange insights with local vocational schools and talent experts.
Program:
1. 14:00-14:10 Welcome Remarks
2. 14:10-15:30 Keynote speeches
3. 15:30-16:00 Q&A discussion sessions
4. 16:00 Closing Remarks
5. 16:00-17:00 Interaction between companies and vocational school
