Dear Members and Friends of SwissCham,

SwissCham Beijing cordially invites you to a Business Luncheon about China's cybersecurity on Thursday, June 17th 2021 at George's Restaurant at Hotel Éclat Beijing.

We are happy to host our guest speaker, Mr. Anson Chen, Senior Manager at E&Y and Mr. Nengwu Sun, Head of Legal and Compliance at Swiss Re, who will share their practical experience and in-depth thoughts to the audiences on cybersecurity.

Mr. Anson Chen will introduce you:

Background of the legislation of "Data Security Law (DSL)- Draft" and "Personal Data Protection Law (PIPL) – Draft".
Interpretation of key terms and implications on MNCs
Sharing on common practice for addressing compliance requirements of two laws.

Mr. Nengwu Sun will discuss the topics in our second section on:

Anson Chen
Senior Manager at Ernst & Young Hua Ming LL
Anson Chen is the Senior Manager of Cybersecurity & Privacy Protection Consulting practice of Ernst & Young (China) Advisory Limited.

Anson is based in E&Y Beijing office with focus on Cybersecurity, IT Risk Management, and IT Governance. He supports MNCs in automotive, life science, manufacturing, FMCG sectors on security strategy planning, security governance, security operation, vendor security management, risk management, compliance management, data privacy protection. Anson used to work in the IT dept. of a global leading automotive company and had extensive experience on the management of IT security function, and collaboration with various corporate departments to address the challenges regarding information security.

Nengwu Sun
Head of Legal and Compliance at Swiss Re
Nengwu Sun is Head of Legal for China & Japan at Swiss Re.

Nengwu is based in Swiss Re's Beijing office, with primary focus on managing legal, regulatory and compliance issues relating to Swiss Re’s operation in China. He supports and advises on insurance regulatory, general corporate, and compliance matters. He has advised new products and business initiatives, strategic projects and transactions, as well as reinsurance contract and claims issues. Nengwu was appointed Chief Compliance Officer of the Swiss Re Beijing Branch in May 2011, and became a member of the branch's China Management Team in May 2013.

Nengwu is a qualified lawyer in China. He has a Magister Juris (Master of Laws) degree from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor of Laws degree from Dalian Maritime University.
