RESPONDING TO CLIMATE CHANGE: THEORY AND PRACTICE on Thursday, December 14 from 4 pm to 7:45 pm at Yale Center Beijing

The mission of the workshop series on Corporate Social Responsibility and Climate Change is to bring thought leaders from business and academic circles together who share their analysis of progress and setbacks in the implementation of sustainable business practices responding to climate change, low carbon strategies and their contribution to the larger society. A particular focus is to better understand the opportunities and pitfalls of the Chinese context. It offers a forum to discuss dilemmas, risks and challenges in a highly volatile and competitive environment and society. The goal is to create networks beyond the conventual boundaries which are critical for ongoing action-oriented solutions. It will also be critically evaluated if Confucianism may provide guidance and inspiration for such a process.
